QR codes for every table

Generate printable QR codes for your venue. Free, no signup, and it works with any link, not just ours. Print them, stick them on the tables, done.

Set to 0 for a single code with no table number.
{n} is replaced by the table number.

Scan test before you print a hundred of these. Generate one, scan it with two different phones, and confirm it opens the right page. Codes are produced entirely in your browser, so nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Printing them properly

Most QR failures in venues are printing problems, not code problems.

Minimum size

Print at least 25mm across for a table code, and 40mm+ for anything read from more than an arm's length. Smaller than that and older phone cameras struggle.

Keep the quiet zone

Leave clear white space around the code. Text or a border crowding the edge is the single most common cause of a code that will not scan.

Matte, not gloss

Gloss laminate under downlights throws glare straight back at the camera. Matte finish scans far more reliably on a lit table.

Tell people what it does

"Scan to order" under the code roughly doubles the number of people who actually use it. A bare code gets ignored.

Dark on light

Keep the code dark on a light background. Inverted codes fail on a lot of scanners, and low contrast fails on all of them.

Check it after laminating

Scan one from the finished batch, at the angle a seated customer would hold their phone, in the light your room actually has.

Codes are the easy part. The ordering page is the rest.
